The Locomotive Magazine is an online quarterly publication conceived among the radical voices of the Global South who continue to center the struggle against capitalism and imperialism. We seek to endure under their protection and to amplify the voices of those who aspire to join this resistance.

Our e-magazine and blog embrace underrepresented radical voices through contributions that envision a better world. We publish literary works—including poetry, fiction, translation, scholarly writing, and creative essays—as well as artistic works such as video essays, short films, photography, and other visual arts.

Our small platform operates entirely independent of donations or external funding. For this reason, we are currently unable to compensate contributors for published work.
