Blog Submissions

We invite submissions of creative, academic, and non-academic analytical works that engage with Marxist thought, particularly on the Global South. We are especially interested in pieces that critically address contemporary global issues, including but not limited to race, class, gender, environment, de-colonialism, and imperialism.

Our Blog section features poetry, creative and analytical essays, videos (video essay, short films, video interview), as well as photography and caricatures.

Submissions for essays and interviews should not exceed 5,000 words, while book reviews are limited to 1,500 words. Poems no more than five, photos and caricatures maximum three. Short films no more than 15 minutes and video interviews no more than 120 minutes.
