Dr. Sammy Holden is a film scholar, film educator, filmmaker, film programmer, and artist. They have recently completed a PhD in Media-by-practice, entitled ‘Trans, Camera, Action: transgender and non-binary support through oppositional and alternative film practice’.
Using analogue and digital filmmaking methods, they have explored how film form itself can be trans supportive through the creation of six short films in multiple genres.
